We love shooting events and being part of special events in someone's life. So when Zainab called us to shoot her daughter's 1st birthday, we gladly accepted. I am jealous of bloggers who blog about how wonderful their lives are and how everything seems to be sunny and bright. I get addicted reading their posts because their posts make me smile and their anecdotes inspire me. But I then realized that it is not their lives which seem to be picture-perfect but how they see things. Remember Usaym or Uzzy? 6 months ago, we had a really fun portrait session with this active baby. He was only 6 months old then. Time really flies so fast and now he is one! If you think she looks familiar is because you have seen her in our blogpost about Elia's 1st Birthday. She is Elia's older sister and she turned 7 last March. We have sooo many backlogs we almost forgot to post and this is one of them. 2 months ago (can you believe that it is that long?!), we celebrated a friend's birthday in Mamma Mia -one of the newest pizza places here in Dubai. Located in Radissons Blu, Dubai Marina, this small quaint Italian restaurant has the biggest pizza I have ever seen in Dubai! And really tasty too. For her first birthday celebration, we got the privilege to photograph this little girl who is close to our hearts, Krix! We have been friends with their parents for years now and it is good to see our daughters growing together. Krix goes Chinese! Babies are the most challenging subjects. You have to get them in the right mood which means they should have had enough sleep and milk before the shoot starts. Yesterday was my beloved hubby's birthday. I have arranged a surprise lunch and bowling game for him but thanks to my carelessness, it wasn't a surprise anymore. I used an email from our friend and copied-furnished everybody and I forgot to delete my hubby's from the email addresses so it came to him unintentionally. hahaha! I celebrated my 30th birthday this year with so much joy...thanks to my dearest hubby and friends.
